Designer reviewing residential blueprints at drafting table

How It Works

The Process

From your first idea to a complete drawing set — no surprises, no runaround.

Clear. Collaborative. Straightforward.

You'll always know where things stand.

A lot of homeowners come in not knowing what to expect from the design process. That's fine — most people haven't done this before. The steps below are how every project moves from a conversation to a set of drawings your builder can actually use.

There's one point of contact throughout. You're not handed off to a junior drafter or left waiting on a project manager. You work directly with the designer, start to finish.

Step by Step

Every project follows the same path.

01

Initial Consultation

We start with a real conversation — your vision, how you live, what your lot allows, and what your builder will need. Understanding the full picture before a single line is drawn is what separates a good design from a great one.

02

Concept & Sketch

We develop initial concept sketches based on your input. You review and give feedback directly with your designer — no middlemen — so we refine the direction together before committing to full drawings.

03

Full Drawing Set

Once the concept is approved, we produce a complete, construction-ready drawing set — floor plans, elevations, foundation, roof, electrical layouts, and every detail your builder and permit office will need.

04

Review & Permits

We walk you through the completed drawings and make sure everything is exactly right. Your set is prepared to meet local permit requirements so the approval process goes smoothly.

05

Construction Ready

Your final drawing set goes to your builder with everything they need to build it right. And if you need a trusted contractor, our network of established builder relationships in Central Indiana is yours to use.

"You shouldn't need an architecture degree to understand your own house plans."

Every drawing set is built to be read — by you, your builder, and the permit office.
